Kane Off to KHL
Evander Kane has signed a deal that will see him play with Dinamo Minsk in Russia's Kontinental Hockey League. In doing so, Kane becomes the first Canadian NHL-team-based player to sign with the Russian league.

Daddy to Be
The NHL lockout may be depressing and frustrating to hockey fans (especially for Winnipeg hockey fans) but some good news to report as Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler is expecting his first child with his wife. Wheeler says his expected boy may just be a future Jet in 20 years or so. Here's hoping.
Wheeler also believes that when the 2012-2013 NHL season finally gets underway, he hopes to hit the next level and become a possible 30-goal scorer.

Kane Signs Six Year Extension
Finally. The Winnipeg Jets have signed 30-goal scorer Evander Kane to a six-year, $31.5 million deal that has the 21-year-old wrapped up until the end of the 2017-2018 NHL season.

Bogo Out for Season
In the unlikely event there is a NHL season this year, the Winnipeg Jets will have to do it without one of their star defensemen, as blueliner Zach Bogosian will be out four to six months after undergoing wrist surgery on Friday.
