Perhaps in preparation for the 2016 Heritage Classic (which, by the
way, I believe will pit the Jets-wearing a jersey to honor the original
Jets, plus the Falcons, Monarchs and Victorias-
versus
Montreal, given the history between the two hockey cities dating back
to the late 1800s and the infancy of Stanley Cup play) the Winnipeg Jets held an open outdoor practice on the Red River at the Forks
in front of hundreds of people that braved the frigid temperatures to
watch the Jets run drills, interact and even scrimmage with a local
pee-wee team.
