Well, mostly anyway. Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Bufuglien avoided jail time that would have been his fate had he been convicted on seemingly trumped up charges by the Minnesota State police. Instead he pleaded guilty to lesser charges in a plea-bargain that saw the original charges dismissed in exchange for a 28-day suspended sentence and community service.
