Antropov Signs with KHL
The mark left by the Atlanta Thrashers is getting smaller and smaller. Of course the "core" of players that the Winnipeg Jets just signed to a $91.3 million were drafted and, for lack of a better word, developed by the Thrashers, will be Jets for the foreseeable future. Slowly but surely the Jets brass are putting their own mark or "brand" if you will. Gone are Alexander Burmistrov (who left for the KHL, but whose NHL right are still retained by the Jets) Tim Stapleton (KHL), Johnny Oduya (trade to Chicago), Ron Hainsey (unsigned) and now Nik Antropov has signed with HC Barys Astana of the Kontinental Hockey League.
