Jets Down Sabres

A win by the Winnipeg Jets over the Buffalo Sabres 4-1, and a win by the Washington Capitals over the Montreal Canadiens 3-2, keeps things at status-quo in the NHL's South-East division as the Caps still lead the Jets by two points for first place in the division and the number three seeding in the Eastern Conference with 44 points.
The Caps also still have a game in hand over the Jets.

The Jets are now tied with the New York Rangers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East with 42 points.  Both teams lead the ninth-place New Jersey Devils by two points with seven games remaining.

Both Brian Little and Toby Enstrom received injuries during the game, Little came back for the third period, Enstrom did not due to hurting his shoulder.  He is now day-to-day.  Little is expected to be in the line-up against the Florida Panthers on Thursday.
