The National Hockey League and Winnipeg Jets (along with every other NHL club) released their schedule for the NHL 2013-14 season that includes a 19-day break for the Jets so the league's players can participate in the 2014 Winter Olympics for their respective home countries.
The early schedule is favourable to the Jets as their first eight out of 10 games are in the confines of the MTS Centre. However, seven of their final 10 are on the road.
Vancouver, Calgary and Chicago will appear for the first time at the MTS Centre since the Jets 2.0 were reborn in River City.
