Bad timing and even worse decision-making led to penalties taken by the Winnipeg Jets that cost them a two-goal lead over the Philadelphia Flyers in the third period (including a full two-minute five-on-three) that eventually led to a Wayne Simmonds goal that turned out to be the winner as the Jets lost to the Flyers 5-3 at the Wells Fargo Center.
The main reason for the loss (which was Winnipeg's first road loss in five games) other than poor discipline, was their anemic, non-existent powerplay that now stands at 0-for-21 in the last eight games.
