Another Uninspired Loss

You'd figure after embarrassing themselves and leaving their goalie out to dry for eight goals in Pittsburgh, the Jets would have something to prove, if not for their hometown fans, then at least for themselves. No power play goals (two miserable shots on three power-play opportunities) , no inspiration, no points. Their north-south was non-existent as they couldn't connect on barely any defensive zone to neutral zone passes, too many give-aways once again and way too many dump and chases for a power-play that wasn't firing on any cylinders. Is it any wonder the visiting Islanders beat the ever-more demoralized Jets 3-1.
