Blues Beat Jets in Shootout

The Jets fell behind 2-0 by the end of the first period before Blake Wheeler notched two to tie it up by the end of the second, but The St. Louis Blues won the game in the second round of the shootout with a nifty backhand by David Perron. The Jets out shot the Blues 42-17 and most times outplayed them but the Jets couldn't muster that third goal for the victory. They did secure a point and temporarily maintain first place in the South-East division.
