Even though the Jets seemed to be inspired by last night's come from behind victory in Washington, as they had a lot of jump in their game; it apparently wasn't enough as the Jets playoff hopes got more difficult tonight as they fell to the Nashville Predators 3-1 coupled with the Buffalo Sabres 3-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild. They remain six points ahead of the Jets in the Eastern Conference and hold on to the seventh spot. The Capitals were idle tonight and stay four points ahead in eighth. It is painfully obvious that every game is a must win and help is needed now from other teams in the conference as it appears the Jets fate is no longer in their own hands.
