Slim But Still In
The chances of the Winnipeg Jets making it to the 2012 NHL playoffs are most definitely slim and none. But they are as of this writing still in...mathematically speaking. Of course they would have to go on a club-record seven-game winning streak (starting tonight against the conference-leading New York Rangers) and hope the Buffalo Sabres completely fall apart for the rest of their regular-season record, something that has as much chance of happening as the Toronto Maple Leafs winning the cup in our lifetime. Okay, maybe they have a better chance than that, but it's still pretty dire.
